We had such a lovely family stay at Margate Beach Hotel! The hotel is very family-friendly and the beachfront location is definitely one of its biggest highlights. I particularly loved the kids’ programmes that were scheduled throughout the week during our stay. The kids’ activity room was also a huge plus — it kept the little ones entertained and busy, giving parents a bit of time to relax and enjoy the holiday too. We booked a two-bedroom unit, which was perfect for our family and gave us plenty of space. The room was cleaned daily, except on public holidays, which was understandable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The combination of the beachfront location, spacious family accommodation and the activities available for children makes Margate Beach Hotel a great option for families looking for a relaxed and enjoyable getaway. We would definitely consider staying here again! Rooms: We booked a two bedroom. Nearby activities: Wild coast. Banana farm. Safety: Relatively safe. Walkability: The place is beachfront. Food & drinks: The hotel is self catering however we were able to order in and to go buy anything we needed at nearby shops and restaurants. Noteworthy details: The hotel does not have a covered parking which may be an issue when there’s hail or excessive sunshine.

This place really surprised us as we've never been to or stopped in Margate before. The 3 bedroom was really spacious and neat. The balcony splash pool and private braai area was perfect. Even if we didn't have the private braai the communal braai area was so clean. There is load to do for the kids of all ages and we had three 13yr olds and an 11 year old with us who all absolutely loved it.

I loved that when we arrived there was someone at reception. He was so friendly and welcoming. I loved our room, the staff service. We had the most amazing stay at Margate beach club in the luxury 3 bed apartment with heated splash pool on the deck and built in braai, the sea view was beautiful and the unit was spectacular, this was one of my most luxurious stays and value for money. My family and I loved every moment of being in this accommodation and the staff were super friendly and the cleaners were amazing they really go out of their way to make sure your unit is clean and smells fresh. I recommend this to anyone that enjoys luxurious and peaceful stays. It was so nice and quiet we slept so well. Thank you Margate beach club for making this a memorable family holiday.
